Privacy Policy

How the İslam 365 mobile application and website handle your information.

Effective date: 2026-03-30umitapps@gmail.com

01General Information

This privacy policy applies to the İslam 365 mobile application and website (together, the “Application”), created by UmitApps (the “Service Provider”) as a free service. The service is provided “as is”.

By using the Application you agree to the data practices described here. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.

02Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
  • The pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
  • The total time spent in the Application
  • The operating system and browser you use

For features such as prayer times, qibla direction and nearby mosques, the Application uses your device's location with your permission. Location data is used in the following ways:

  • Geolocation Services: providing personalised content such as local prayer times, qibla angle and nearby mosques.
  • Analytics and Improvements: aggregated and anonymised location data helps analyse usage, identify trends and improve performance.
  • Third-Party Services: anonymised data may periodically be transmitted to external services that help improve the Application.

On the website, location is requested through your browser; if you decline, you can continue by selecting your city manually.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

For a better experience, the Service Provider may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information. Such information is retained and used only as described in this policy. The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you with important information, required notices and promotions.

03Data Stored on Your Device

Personal records such as dhikr counters, missed prayer tracking, khatm progress, favourites and your theme/language preferences are stored primarily on your own device (browser local storage or in-app storage). This data is not sent to our servers.

If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, these records are deleted and cannot be recovered unless you have backed them up.

04Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymised data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and its service.

The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

The mobile app uses the Google Drive API solely to back up the user's own app data. We do not store or share this data on our servers.

The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, have no independent use of the information, and have agreed to the rules set out in this policy.

05Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information at any time by uninstalling the mobile application, or — on the website — by revoking location permission and clearing site data.

06Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like your data deleted, contact umitapps@gmail.com and you will receive a response within a reasonable time.

07Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from, or market to, children under 13.

If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact umitapps@gmail.com so the necessary action can be taken.

08Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains.

09Changes and Your Consent

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are announced by publishing the updated policy on this page; continued use is deemed approval of those changes, so please review this page regularly.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy.
