Prayer To Be Recited Before Sleeping

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “If you recite Surah Al-Fatiha first, then Surah Al-Ikhlas before going to bed to sleep, you will be safe from everything except death.” (Suyuti, Al-Jami' al-Saghir, No: 892) The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said: “When you go to bed, say: {I seek refuge in Allah’s perfect and complete words from His wrath...} If you say this, nothing will harm you, and you will be worthy of being protected from harm.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) also said: “When you go to bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun. Because this Surah is a declaration of innocence from polytheism.” (Tirmidhi, Dua, 22)
