From a narration by Ubadah ibn Samit (ra): “Whoever wakes up from sleep and says:”
“There is no god but Allah, He alone exists, He has no partner, the dominion is His, praise is due to Him, and He is capable of all things. If someone says, ‘Praise be to Allah, glorify Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the greatest, and there is no power except in Allah,’ and then says, ‘O my Lord, forgive me,’ or makes a supplication, it will be answered; and if he performs ablution, his prayer will be accepted.” (Bukhari, Tahajjud, 21)
