The Virtue of Dawn (Time of Acceptance)
Prayers to be Recited at Specific Times of the DayFrom the section 'Prayers to be Recited at Specific Times of the Day' in the book 'Prayers and Dhikr' by Mahmud Sami Ramazanoğlu - 'The Virtue of Dawn' part
According to a narration from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Our Lord, Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven every night when the last third of the night remains and says: 'Is there anyone who prays to Me so that I may answer their prayer and grant them what they ask? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive them?'” (Bukhari, Tahajjud, 14) This hadith indicates, with great glad tidings, that the last third of the night is the time of acceptance of prayers.
