Prayer to be Recited Morning and Evening
Daily PrayersThe following prayer, which the Prophet (peace be upon him) advised his daughter, Lady Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her), to recite morning and evening, shows how people concerned about eternal life should seek refuge in Allah:
“O Allah, the Ever-Living and Self-Sustaining! I seek refuge in Your mercy and I ask for Your help. Set right all my affairs and do not leave me alone with my ego even for a moment!” (Hakim, I, 730)
