Surah Quraysh After Prayers
Prayer SupplicationsImam Rabbani, in his Maktubat, informs us that if one continues to recite the Surah Li-ilâfi Kureyş at least eleven times in the morning and evening, or after each of the five daily prayers, then, by the permission of Allah Almighty, one will be safe from life-threatening dangers.
Quranic Verse
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ ﴿1﴾ إِۦلَٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ ﴿2﴾ فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ ﴿3﴾ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍۢ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ ﴿4﴾
Meaning
1. For the accustomed security of the Quraysh - 2. Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer - 3. Let them worship the Lord of this House, 4. Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
Transliteration
Bismillâhi’r-Rahmâni’r-Rahîm. Li îlâfi kurayş. Îlâfihim rihlete’ş-şitâi ve’s-sayf. Felya’budû Rabbe hâze’l-beyt. Ellezî et’amehum min cû’ın ve âmenehum min havf.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. For the sake of the Quraysh, who provided them with security, and brought them closer together in winter and summer journeys, so they worship the Lord of this House, who fed them from hunger and protected them from fear. Let them worship the Lord of the Kaaba, who feeds them and delivers them from all kinds of fear.
