Allah's Nearness and Response to Supplication

Quranic Verse
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِى عَنِّى فَإِنِّى قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِى وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ ﴿186﴾
Meaning
186. And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.
“And when My servants ask you about Me, [tell them] that I am very near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he supplicates to Me. So let them respond to My call and believe in Me, that they may be guided.” (Al-Baqara, 186) Commentary: This verse was revealed when the Companions asked if they should pray loudly or softly. Allah is near with His knowledge and hears even secret prayers. If a person prays with sincerity, Allah responds. In return, servants should obey His commands and find the right path.
